The Battle of Telamon.
The Roman's march on Gaul land, ready to crush the last of the resistance, Only a hand full of the Gaul warriors stand ready to defend their homes and familys.. at either side of them mountains too tall to climb, at the rear of the army sits the still ocean ready to devour any who try to sail its waters.
"Ahead the Roman's march.. with their cowardly sheilds and inbread horses! But today we Gauls will slaughter them and claim victory for our land!" The Gaul general trys his best at lifting his mens moral.. but at heart even he was scared at the possible outcome.
For the Gauls there was no retreat.. as a scout approached with breath amiss, he struggled to speak bad news.. "Roman's! blocking the mountain pass, they will be here by dusk!"
Flanked from behind and in front, this was certain death in the generals waking eyes, but he would not speak these words to his men, he can't afford them to lose anymore heart.
