Follow the adventures of Dr. Evie Adams. An ambitious geneticist makes a game changing discovery and accidentally imbues herself with amazing powers. Now she must come to grips with life as a superhero while all life on Earth is in the balance!

Message from the Author:

I'm a software engineer, but a long time ago, in a lifetime far far away I dreamed of being a comic book creator. In college, I minored in the arts and majored in engineering (that definitely did weird things to my brain), with the intention of exploring my creative options while having a very solid backup plan to actually make a living. You can guess how that went.

As a fan of science fiction, and an avid reader and collector of novels, comic books, and trade paperbacks, I got my fix in doses with the advent of superhero movies, and the wonderful City of Heroes game published in the early 2000's. While perusing the robust character creator of CoH, I first found the spark of the idea of Evie Adams. From time to time I would put pencil to paper and draw her. Then I got a Wacom, then I got an iPad Pro, then I started experimenting with generative AI, and after weeks of research, training, experimentation, and trial and error... I found her!

I feel that Evie represents the hope in all of us. She is a brilliant and truly optimistic person that never stops fighting despite the insecurities and challenges she encounters. The fact that she's gorgeous and has a tendency to end up naked due to her powers is a fan service bonus.

Just like Evie, I HOPE... that you enjoy the story. I HOPE... that you enjoy the art. I HOPE... you join me as we explore where Evie goes next. And I HOPE... you have a good time on the journey!

They had lingered at the H5 tavern long after Lara finished closing, sitting at a quiet table. Story by @cathypalen Early spring settles gently over the university courtyard, sunlight pooling across pale stone and new leaves just beginning to commit to green. The air is warm without weight, the kind of warmth that feels earned after a long winter. Folding chairs line the lawn in careful rows. Maya stands near the front with her cohort, a lab coat thrown confidently over an ivory blouse and black knee length skirt, the formal academic hood draped across her shoulders.
