Mirror test using DAZ3D, Luxus and Luxrender.

I've been playing around with mirrors lately, want to start using them more often so I threw this quick pose together to test some settings.

I put the girls in a cube primitive, I believe it was 40', changed the diffuse color to 107 and the specular color to 114.
I used a plane primitive the same dimensions as the cube and placed it against the back wall then applied the Luxrender mirror surface material to it via Luxus.
I used 1 standard Luxus Area Light placed just behind the camera lens.

Left model is a Victoria 4.2 base with the full Gabi character applied. She has Perfect V4 Complete and Morphs++ morphs along with Interjection Surface Injections applied. GlamourHair V4.

Right model is a Victoria 6 HD base with the head applied from the Ginger character, bump strength of 45%, subsurface strength of 75%. I did some shape changes to her, applied 3feetwolf genitals and Estal Hair.

Luxrender settings were:
Used the Linear Kernel with ISO:125, Shutter:1, F-stop:5.6 (That's what pressing the "Estimate settings" button in Luxrender came up with)
Apple RGB preset under Color Space
Advantix 200 Film Response
I kicked the light gain up to 2.20

I initially used the Refine Brush on the mirror surface until the noise went away (thanks for the tip rogerobb1), then reset the refine brush and let the render cook to about 9000 S/p.

No postwork other than adding the name overlay using PS.

Mirrors can be fun; it was the first thing I played with when I started with Daz and Lux (via Reality plug-in). you may find some of the info interesting, there are links in the text to the setups etc... `¬) fav.me/d3i0jv0 provided you set the angles right (60deg in this case)
