The rain falls from the sky
And lightening branches out from nowhere
I look around to see not a soul
Am I the only one left?
To play these lonely sad songs
With only a violin as my guide
My tears run one with the rain
As I pull my bow across the delicate strings
The soft familiar tunes are now flowing
If only someone were here to listen.......
