Finally I had a chance to visit the Joshua Tree National Park, a few hours East of Los Angeles (where I had to attend a conference). It was only for one day, but working once more with KatyT, a most beautiful, enthusiastic and superbly skilled performer, made this a successful and unforgettable experience. Thanks Kate.
This week I had the chance to work with the beautiful and talented Isabella Reneaux
who happens to live in Berlin for the time being. Unfortunately, however, the weather was much too rough to do the outdoor shoot that we had planned. So we decided to work indoors in natural light and to continue with the attempt to express emotions through gestures and poses. It is interesting that it seems easier to express negative emotions -- fear, sorrow, despair, etc -- rather than positive ones. But we have only begun this exploration.
