Happy New Year 2017!

I also started my second year studies as a graphic designer student. Second year studies started with a big magazine project with our classmates, and I'm happy that we managed to complete and get finished that magazine in time!

I was also lucky to get a summer job this year, even I first thought in June that I have to pay my apartment rent from my own savings l''D
I have also met lots of nice new people during this year, I have also finally started to actually like living in Kouvola where I moved during autumn 2015 (when I started the graphic designing studies). Aaand the list goes on, lot has happened during this year C:


I made some resolutions for this year in last January, so let's see which of them I managed to actually complete!

My resolutions for year 2016 were:

► Draw more   (Task completed)
I definitely drew a lot more this year, and I'm happy about that n__n

► Get your shit together, start from the beginning, stop looking back over your shoulder again and again   (Task completed)
Finally got rid of my quite bad anxiety and depression! I took almost a year, but I'm seriously glad that it's over now and I'm feeling damn good at the moment! I'm full of energy and I have no time to cry anymore about old things, when there's lots of cool new things coming in future! n__n

► Try to enjoy more your staying in the new city   (Task completed)
I takes me always almost a year to feel myself comfortable in the new city, but finally I enjoy living in Kouvola. I'm glad that I have friends who to meet after school if I feel bored in my student apartment~

► Try to get your art more known   (Task completed)
I was selling my drawings this year on the artist alleys of Desucon Frostbite, Yukicon, Hypecon & Animecon (and Kumakumacon, kind of :'D ). I'm so happy that I was accepted on those artist alleys and I'm happy that people actually bought something from me XD
I also got over 500 lovely watchers in deviantART, and over 100 followers in Twitter this year! Thank you so much everyone, I hope that you enjoy my art also in the future ;w;

► Draw more original art   
(Not sure did I complete this or not? Result could have been better :'D )
Well, I did upload some school works here in dA and drew some other things too than not just commissions and fan art. During Inktober I drew some original art, which I also sold on the artist alleys as stickers, magnets and keychians, but it feels like that I could have done some bigger original drawings too during this year. I could try to complete this resolution better during 2017 C:


Total: 4/5 completed!  


Have to say that I did pretty well with the resolutions! But how about the resolutions for year 2017?


  My resolutions for the year 2017:  

► Try again to draw more original art
► Practise more digital drawing
► Find a nice internship/job practise place for the summer, and do your best there/try to learn as much as you can!
► Try to save more money for the trip to Japan I have been planning to make during the years 2019-2020 after I graduate
► Think about yourself more: do things that feel right and comfortable, you don't have to do things that make you doubt or unsure. Think less what others think about you.
