Did You Know...
Super Smash Bros. was originally called "Dragon King: The Fighting Game" for the Super Nintendo and would've used the SuperFX chip to render 3D graphics and would not feature any Nintendo Characters.
Final Smashes were originally going to be in the N64 game but due to hardware limitations it couldn't be done, however, there is audio evidence for this idea. The character Ness can be heard saying "PK" and "Starstorm", which is the name of the Final Smash for both Ness and Lucas.
The Playable characters and the Secret characters are setup in chronological order. For Example, Mario and Donkey Kong debuted in 1981 and Pikachu Debuted in 1996. For the Secret characters Luigi Debuted in 1983 and Jigglypuff in 1996.
