Thanks for checking out. :peace:

*priteeboy for the gas-giant texture [link]

Rest is my own work, mountain rendered with Mojoworld & the sky/mist compiled from my own photos. Penguins are airbrushed, even though they´re hard to spot even in the 2048x1536 version, looks much better in the original sized version naturally, and on the print.

Is it even possible for a celestrial body to be that close to a planet in real life without crashing? I know it's art, so it don't matter, I was just wondering. Reminds me of that Mars rave that happened a couple of years back. Congrats on getting a daily deviation

Not completely impossible, even though the gas-giant would propably make the atmosphere of the foreground planet a little more turbulent. But that´s artistic liberty for ya. :p

Great, just great...now I have to download it and zoom in on the 2048x1536 one just so that I can see if I can find the penguins! XD

Amazing art, I might use it as my wallpaper; even if I don't, thanks for providing!

This is really neat! I love digital landscapes.
There are a couple of things I'd like to point out, though. The lighting hitting the mountains does not seem to fit. I think this would look a little better if they were darker, which is easy to do in Photoshop. Also, I don't know about the terrain texture. It looks a bit unnatural, even for something that isn't exactly meant to be a "natural" setting.

Just trying to put in something constructive, instead of "Awesome!" or "Great!" like I usually do.

I don't know why, but they seem to emphasize each other's beauty!
