is it odd that my eyes see the globe spinning??
Despite being a reworked NASA image, it's not like putting a real image to a PS background in a way that blends in properly is a small task. It isn't to me, anyway.
Besides, you added a lot to the colour/aura of the planet. It's not your average image, either. I can see the hurricanes on the picture.
In any case, it looks fantastic. It's actually currently my desktop background, so thanks for that.

The planet-texture is from Nasa, so the only PS-work was the planet-atmosphere, lighting & stars, those were pretty simple & already explained on various space-art tutorials.

wow! what software did you use to make it?
Photoshop 7, pretty simple piece since I only worked around the great texture from Nasa.
