Newfoundland in the Daffodils

This is my darling, 11 month old Newfoundland laying beside my mother's precious flowers. It is the first in a series of 'spring' pictures I recently took of Nova. The quotes around spring are because its nearly below freezing today and in some pictures you can see Nova's breath.

My mom guards her garden as well as she can against the rabbits (she swears they plot every night how to go about eating it). It's funny because while photographing Nova she laid down on top of my mother's carefully guarded flowers. I managed to unflatten most of them...
