Welcome! This is a quality controlled collection group for as much dragon-related artwork we can hunt down. This includes animations, sculptures, personal characters, fan art, and concept art. The quality control means that we will only allow artworks of a certain, advanced level and up to be submitted, in that we require the artist to show at least a clear understanding of light and form, of anatomy and color and it's a definite bonus if the artwork has an attractive composition. Our aim is to provide a gallery where users can browse through a custom picked gallery quality art that we would like to share. We are intent on showing you artists you might not have seen before or maybe even the ones you forgot about! Hopefully you can find some new favorite artists by joining our group.  Joining: Joining is automatic. There are currently no joining rules! Have fun. Submission: When trying to submit your or someone else's artwork, be sure to check out if that work is at least as advanced as the works that are already in our gallery. Please choose the appropriate folder. The founders will vote and, if necessary, discuss on whether it fits in our gallery. Your work can be declined without any explanation. It should be clear that if a picture is declined, it simply does not meet up with the standards as mentioned above. Please submit to the gallery before the favorites. Only submit to the favorites if you think that the artist will not accept the request to be in the gallery. The mods have kind of been out of contact with each other recently so there has been some art that has gotten into the group that isn't up to our normal standards.
It seems that we are also starting to be more lenient because we are sick of getting so many of the "why didn't my thing get accepted/this got in but mine didn't" comments. That shouldn't sway our decisions, especially in a quality controlled group.
We are going to require that two mods accept a piece before it is allowed in the group, instead of one like before. This means there might be more discussions on the submission between us about why we might or might not accept it.
We're going to go through and weed out some of the lesser quality art that we have accepted in the past to make our collection stronger. If your art gets removed, that is the explanation. It is not a statement on how we feel about you or your art, it's simply to maintain our collection.
There isn't always detailed explanations behind why we refuse certain pieces. If your submission gets rejected, please don't ask us why. It is always because it doesn't meet the standards of our group, and I will repeat that to everyone so please don't ask.
IF HOWEVER, you get refused, understand why, but would like more details, you may ask one of us to come and critique your work or otherwise tell you what you can do to improve, we would love to help.
IF you want to ask us why your submission got declined because you think you're hot shit and we should accept it based completely on your opinion of yourself, please watch out for the trolls under the bridge as you go.
