the weather data the skin displays is not 100% the same than on weather.com. this happens due to parsing deferments of the required XML file
on some screens rainmeter wont return the right resolution so the skin will look too small/too big, in this case leave a comment below and I will give you instructions

Download Rainmeter here: github.com/rainmeter/rainmeter…

Then download my skin here: www.deviantart.com/download/63…

Execute the Rainmeter installation first and then the skin's one, finished :)

Love this skin but want to echo what some others have reported. The TimeDate.ini will only show a 24 hour clock even when choosing American and British version. The TimeDate Weather suite does show a 12 hour clock. Is there some way for users to correct this in the TimeDate.ini ?Thanks so much for your efforts.

Cheers!

This skin is really amazing !
But to be honest I have a problem with the current weather icon, it doesn't appear for almost all cities in France (I have a question mark instead)...
However the next days' icons are displayed without any problem !
Do you know where could this issue come from ?

Hm, that is weird. It is definitely the fault of weather.com's XML-feed, which I am fetching. They really don't care about their XML-feed.

Most of the times the feed fixes itself after couple of hours or days, if not please report back and I'll investigate the feed. This issue happens often with smaller cities. Did you try bigger cities like Paris, Lyon, Marseille?

This is a great skin, first of all. I've gone through some of the comments and seem to have a similar issue - I'm using the American system and I swear when I first downloaded and started using this, it was using standard time (12 hour). All of sudden today, it seems to be using military time (24 hour) and I can't seem to change it back.

I also noticed that my weather was set to celsius and changed that, but the weather is still in celsius. That's not a terribly big deal, as I'm using another weather skin, but the time is kinda annoying and the date doesn't change either - I'm still showing d/m/y when US does m/d/y; again not terrible and I can live with it, but I can't live with military time. Is there a way to fix this? I've already tried clicking on American and that doesn't work; I've tried going into the skin text and changing the code there, but that's not working either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Right-clicking the skin and selecting American System doesn't change to 12 hours clock and fahrenheit? That is weird because it does for me.

Could you re-download the latest skin version, select the American System and if it doesnt change anything click refresh all from the Rainmeter main menu (bottom left)? I think there is a corruption with the .ini file

Right-click the skin to scale it up to 1,5x, if you want it bigger you have to edit the .ini file and replace 1,5 by your value

Where in the ini file can I change the text color for the day of the week text?  Neither dark nor light themes are visible on my background since they both leave that text dark gray.  Other than that, awesome skin!

Is it possible to add text to the day of the month? (ie: 21st, 3rd, 15th)

And is there a list of fonts that I can change to?

Text to day is possible with some effort, check out Rainmeter documentation: keyword Substitute

You can use any font which is installed on your machine, simply write its name into the variables section

FONT = Product Sans

overwriting the current Product Sans font, but if you change the font you may have to re-align the elements by yourself

This should not be that way. Did you change anything in the .ini file? Are you using the separated TimeDate and Weather skins? On my end the AM/PM is not truncated

Add "Hidden=1" to the clock meters. I am abroad so I cant tell you exactly the name of the meters. You can have a look at the Rainmeter wiki or simply open the skin code and search for meters which sound clock-related.

Hey I'm Canadian and our system has Celsius and 12 hour is there a way to edit the American system to Celsius

Edit the skin

Search for "ContextTitle13=American System" and change it to "ContextTitle13=Canadian System"

After thath in the line beneath "ContextAction13=..."

Change [!WriteKeyValue Variables UNITOFMEASURE "F"] into [!WriteKeyValue Variables UNITOFMEASURE "M"]

And [!WriteKeyValue Variables POSTFIX "°F"] into [!WriteKeyValue Variables POSTFIX "°C"]

Save the file and refresh the skin, now right click-the skin and choose Canadian Style - 12 hour time and celsius temperature :)

Hey, first of all, thank you so much for sharing us this awesome skin!
I just need a little help. Hovering the current weather displays the weather for more days, but I find it too big. That's why I'd like to get it removed (even though it's useful).
So how do I do that?

Besides, I've found some mistakes in the french translation:
- months don't begin with an uppercase in the French language
- There's a typo in the translation of "July": it's actually "juillet"

Thanks! :D

Thanks for reporting the typo, will be fixed in the next release. :)

Do you want to disable the whole panel which opens when hovering or just some elements of it?
The first thing is easy to achieve: edit the skin to open the .ini file and search for this part: [MeterCurrentIcon], then add a ";" (without the quotation marks) before the lines "MouseOverAction" and "MouseLeaveAction", save the file and refresh the skin and clicking the current condition icon will only update the weather data and no forecast is seen. :)

Is there a way to have the weather read in Fahrenheit?

Also, is there a way to have the time displayed as 12 hours and not 24 hours?

If you right-click the skin and choose "American System" the clock will be 12 hours and the weather in Fahrenheit :)

Do you want English as language and celsius and 24 hours clock? Use the British System. :)
