There are what seem like thousands of other Aerolin, Aurolis, and Teckrits mingling about. She’s never felt a particular connection to being an Aerolin, or even from being from Helyum -- she’s an intergalactic traveler, after all -- but she can’t deny it doesn’t feel incredible to see everyone enjoying themselves as much as she is. THESE TWO NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER!! written for the summer stars festival! only a couple more days left already ;-; Gecko Austeria ---- Gecko has been waiting for this for months, so it’s of no surprise that she makes sure her entrance to the festival is as loud and eye-catching as possible. If asked, she’d press she hadn’t exactly planned on the explosion, or crashing her shuttle into the festival grounds -- thankfully for everyone involved, it was the very back of the festival grounds, where there were no booths or otherwise occupied participants to steam roll over. Well, at least not literally. Unfortunately for everyone around her, Gecko is always a bit of a steamroll. It’s how she gets things done effeciently. Despite his curiosity, being at a festival is hardly acceptable for someone like him. Sure, he’s technically off the clock now, a mandated week off after his three weeks on with twelve-hour doubles, but -- well. It wouldn’t exactly be an understatement to call him a workaholic. He thinks it’s justified, really. There will always be more lives to save, others to nurse back to health. He takes his work very seriously, and prides himself on his ability to serve the public. One of the other medics suggested he unwind and try to relax at the festival this year -- she became especially insistent when he told her never had the opportunity to go. Written for the Summer Stars Festival 2023 Wrex | Jupiter | Lena ------ This is easily Wren’s favorite time of year, and he knows Jupiter agrees with him. Though he certainly isn’t as excited as his husband when it comes to the Star Festival, they both agree it’s one of the most magical times of the year, and it is even more special now that they get to share the experience with their daughter.
