Frostwalker

Featuring Riusdar Riusdar woke up alone, sore, and in the dark. His mind felt cloudy and distant. He slowly blinked and tried to focus. There was nothing but darkness. His nostrils flared and scented… earth. Damp earth. His mouth felt thick and sour. With a groan, Riusdar shifted. He was lying splayed out with heavy clods of muddy earth weighing him down. Each muscle ached with pain. Flexing his claws into the ground revealed that it was a layer of equally mucky, gritty dirt over stone. Stone. Darkness. Was he in a cavern of some kind? How in the world had he gotten here? His foggy mind wasn’t coughing up many answers. A half formed memory of pain and crushing weight. He had been… running. Was there anyone else with him? Someone else running alongside him? The thought of another wounded soul was what finally forced Riusdar to his feet.
