Photo Journey DeviantART Exposed!
Do you know how to get more exposure?
Thats probably the biggest question and hunt around here on DA.Some just submit and leave it at that.Hoping they get noticed amongst the millions. Yes, Millions. Do you have any idea how many people are actually on this site? Last count (rough estimate) over 2 million. :faint:
Others on the other hand join clubs to get their work noticed. There are alot of groups on DA. Most come and go unnoticed. Some have been around for a pretty good while and are doing pretty good. A lot of them pop up and just don't have what it takes to keep going. Participation and community is  what makes a group a good one. DA doesn't really have an official listing for all their groups.
Some deviants have made listings of the clubs that are running. One good one that seems to have  updated listings is :devda-club-yellow

Florigraphy: Flower Photography
Nature is an explosion of riches.
To see, appreciate, and capture these riches—especially Nature’s color palette of blossoms—on film [and digital] is a challenge.
As with any kind of photography, good flower images begin with training the eye and learning how to see.
This means to really look at what you’re going to shoot. Examine your flower from the side and notice the curve of the stem, the balance of the blossom. Look at it from the top, and imagine you’re an insect coming in for a landing. Note the symmetry of the petals around the middle. Peer even closer and notice how grains of pollen cling to the center, spilling haphazardly onto the petals. Lie on your back and study the flower from its underside, and discover the variations in color and texture. Look at the leaves, the veins, and the joining at the stem. As you develop the habit of careful observation, images will form in your mind. Your creative juices will start to flow, and that’s when the fu

The Margin
Ahh, the margin, what is the margin? The Margin is the transparent border outside of your div, you can't see it, but it's there. It can allow you place your divs somewhere on the page. If you to make just a simple div box with a width of 200. It would be on the left side of the journal right? (Well, unless you have a text-align: right or center on your journaltext css.)
Let's apply this margin of ours.

Spring is indeed a wonderful thing. The wonderful scents and perfumes of the myriad blossoms fill the air and recharge the batteries, refresh the soul. Dreams slowly wake from hibernation, and sensing the new energy, nudge and nuzzle their way into the spotlight.
