You're up for another gaming mystery right? Well I have another one for you. Please excuse the odd resolution of the art. I just couldn't justify it getting any larger and more unwieldy.

--------------------------------

Join Simon Snake on his journey to choke out Big Dracula or some such... About the hidden stage/alternate hidden route. Starting at 2:40, we start the transition for stage VIII. Below are these odd dots that always seemed to me like a branching path, alternate route or a hidden stage. Anybody else notice this on the original SNES back in the day? Maybe dick around on stage VIII trying to unlock the stage? It was one of the first gaming mysteries I researched, after I realized the internet was perfect for this kind of thing. How disappointed I was, when nothing was mentioned on the internet or just word of mouth.... ever. Well until now.

On a side note, some sneaky dude hid secret links in a boring article about the Castlevania Anniversary Edition Book some time back and you might be pleasantly surprised, if this article is right up your alley... ouch not THAT alley!

---------------------------

When Death cuts one... watch out!!

-----------------------------

Ummm

It could also be the big dipper... but that would just be dumb... right?

----------------------------------

Sort of something I wanted to do forever. It was impossible back in the 90s and I just couldn't find the time since then. I guess the ol' grim reaper can finally come a calling... but wait i'm not dead... better start working on that. Dr. Jeeves, more soduku stat! i don't know how word puzzles can kill a person... but hey, i'm not a ninja...

It is highly likely that there were even multiple cut stages in SCVIV, especially towards the end after clock tower level which seems very rushed from my perspective. Perhaps old Drac had an entire level of his own (a water tower like in CV3?) before the devs realized they wouldn't have enough time to implement it?
