HD and only rendered and saved with OS

I have a question that might sound the closest to #1 Retard if I describe it wrong. Sometimes I don't like image manipulation tools like photoshop and my shit Photofiltre. So is capturing, saving and displaying only using the OS a total different catagory of HD art? See this is dunce level or future brain IQ 9000 subject matter.
