The Special Moments

Another photograph from my mums series.
Here this lady's daughter is not a baby or toddler but rather a 6 year old. She was more than willing to help me out with this series I was doing, and even though I was focusing on mums with younger babies, I thought maybe adding in one or two older children will add a little more to this series..

The change my child brought into my life:
The moment I became a mother, it felt like my life had meaning. I now have something so precious and perfect. I had a whole different perspective on my life; I had become a protector, a provider, a teacher and a leader. I no longer live for me, but for my child. It is the most amazing blessing anyone can ever receive.

The hardest of this time/ change:
I had to learn not to be grossed out, had to accept the sad truth that I will puked on, peed on and yes, even pooped on! And all the changes in your life are not temporary, its permanent. But well worth it!
