The Calm Before The Storm by FromAshesToEden The Calm Before The Storm by FromAshesToEden
With the sun pleasantly bellowing down on all of us today, you wouldn't think that there had been the biggest recorded earthquake in Kyushu several days ago, wrecking Kumamoto. I even felt it from my little town, and I'm an hour and a half away from Kumamoto. The shaking was so intense, things were falling from my shelves, loud rumbling shook the air. I awoke with my jishin alarm blaring, seconds before everything started to shake. I'm praying that things will get better. I've already donated at my local supermarket, but I'm thinking about what else I can do to help.

Anyways, when it comes to taking self portraits, the ones I envision in my mind, my anxiety gets in the way. I worry about what passerbys will think when they see me. And so, it ends up just being a simple self portrait. Bleh.  Hope you all are well!

If anyone outside of Japan would like to donate, please click the link here! I trust Micaela, she loves Kyushu, and you know your donation will go to the right place! : www.generosity.com/volunteer-f…

The storm breaks.
Saw it in Ashley Queen-Kitty's feature.
