we took our cat to the vet yesterday two days ago to get her caught up on shots + de-worm her, and ever since then she's been acting very lethargic. in fact, I haven't seen her move from the bed beside my computer at all. my brother says he saw her go to the litter box, once, but I haven't personally.

she got rabies + distemper vaccinations
and then she had two pills for de-worming

she's still vocal, meows at me when I talk to her and looks up when I walk past and stuff, but she's just been sleeping... since she got home wednesday, and then all day thursday. it's 1:30 friday morning right now, and she's still over there snoozing
should I be worried...?

From my experience, I say it's normal. I had a very active dog who had to get rabies shots + others cause he bit a guy (who pulled his tail and tried to get him back in our yard yadda yadda, not gonna go into the details. but the man was in the wrong) and for quite a few weeks he was just not doing anything. :\ He acted like he was in pain and was timid around everyone and didn't even really gulp down food like he used to :\
But he got better, he's back to his active self now :"D escaping the yard, play fighting, gulping down food, barking at new people again
So I just think it's just the pain of the shots and stuff
But do keep an eye on them, but I think it'll be okay ;v; <3

i think it's normal for cats to be lethargic for a few days after shots, if I remember right. I read about it somewhere, plus my kitten was a lot slower and calmer for a few days after shots
i'd contact them if it's longer than a week though
