My Bio

"All I can see is but through other people's eyes." We must learn to see the world from many others' perspectives, not just our own...

I love to sculpt, origami, draw, and occasionally make jewelry. I'm a chemist at heart, so I look for subtle differences in clay and paper to improve my technique. I tend to sculpt a few times a year when I feel inspired. Lately I have been exploring drawing so I can make jointed paper dolls, along with advanced origami, and trying my skill at writing.

For a quick sketch, this is really well done. The colors capture a natural feeling, yet also imbue a glowing radiance or aurora in the sky, possibly from the wolf itself. The highlight on the eye is a wonderful touch, giving an otherwise natural creature an additional supernatural tone. The wolf has an alert pose, nicely drawn, with its ears pared back as if it is sensing something ahead, be it in the distance or the future. The mouth and eyes are drawn pretty accurately, and don't look cartoony. Simple, yet effective. I look forward to seeing more of your drawings <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

A lovely composition. This is a wonderful ending to a lovely children's alphabet. The drawing is very simple, clean, with a bit of shading and texture. Perfect for its intended audience, children.

As a whole, this children's illustrated alphabet was very well planned out. Stylistically, what I found most appealing is how enthusiastic or upbeat each drawing appears, despite the simplicity. I think the color scheme helps alot in that respect. The animals are all happy or friendly without being too comical. I also like the educational aspect that the drawings are in both French and English. Perfect for introducing children to either language!

You're very welcome! :frog:
That sounds like lots of fun!  I hope your photography work is well received, I also started doing a bit of that to help track shipments and the like.  Mostly I do paperwork though.

My dad used to grow cacti as a hobby. Cacti are very much under-appreciated in horticulture and art. The picture you took really captures the beauty of cacti in their range of colors, shapes, sizes, and spines. This stunning representation of all of the amazing qualities of cacti is very captivating. The long spines are a nice juxtaposition to the soft dewdrops. I love how the curved spines almost appear copper and gold. The title is also a wonderful play on words with "prickly pears" (cactus fruits). Overall work is amazingly beautiful! Thank you for sharing your photography with the dA community!
