So the fantasic :iconbrookette: recently took time to ask me (FROG) a few questions and turned it into this wonderful feature interview for :iconcrartisancrafts: and :iconknitting-and-crochet: .

I'm feeling rather honoured a immensely spoiled at the moment :)

CRAC Interviews: FROG-and-TOAD
This week I had a chance to interview Allison (Frog) from Frog-and-TOAD. She's the crafting half of this DeviantArt team, who recently received a DD for her amigurumi. Here's what she had to share with us.
:iconbrookette: Tell us a little about FROG-and-TOAD.

:iconfrog-and-toad:  FROG and TOAD is actually a collaboration between myself and my partner ( TOAD ). It's true we have very different creative skills but this works for us most of the time, it's like having your biggest fan and critic sat together on the desk next to you. As you've noticed I'm the crocheter in the duo and my ultimate goal is to teach others the art of Amigurumi in a clean, colourful and fun way, and going forward to develop ideas that involve children getting involved in the process also. But I can't reveal all my schemes at this point.

On a slightly different note. We're trying to gather a little momentum with our Facebook page, in order to mimic the wonderful support we've received here on DeviantArt and also to provide another platform for anyone looking to start or find the tools required for Amigurumi. This does not mean our loyalty towards DeviantArt is wavering, but our first aim is to help and encourage people discover the world of Amigurumi for themselves. Thus we will be active via other platforms but we need you to help spread the knowledge. So here's the link fellow Deviants:

And finally we'd like to finish by wishing you all a fantastic weekend, Spring is just around the corner ;)

Kind regards

FROG and TOAD

We're super busy at the moment preparing oodles of new products and setting up partnerships with distributors so please watch this space, visit our site, or drop us a message. Things are happening behind the scenes but we'll get back to everyone single one of you that has shown us support to date.

In the meantime a massive thank you to DeviantArt for providing such a welcoming and friendly community that has been invaluable in encouraging us to reach our goals.

Have a nice day for now

FROG & TOAD
To all our wonderful watchers and supporters.

Please visit our visit, like and share our FB page. We're still working hard towards our goals and your encouragement is so, well .... encouraging!

Thank you all so kindly, and here's the link: www.facebook.com/FrogandToad

We'll hopefully see you on the other side :)
Hi everybody, this is the first time we've really used this Journal feature but we thought now might be a good time to start, as we'd like to say a few thank you's as well as informing you all of what we have planned for the future.

Firstly, a huge thanks to all of you that have recently faved our work. We've done our best to respond to every single one of you and you've truly inspired us to keep on moving forward with our desired goal.

That leads us on to say that 'FROG and TOAD créations' will now be stepping up a gear as we've made it our primary focus and we're 100% committed to bringing all our idea's to life in order for you to purchase from our website. These will include amigurumi patterns, kits & books, alongside our educational products for children.

We (FROG and TOAD) are just two people (amphibians) working from home and trying to share our passions with the world. Our mission statement being "We aim to bridge the gap of imagination, between childhood and adulthood". All of you on Deviantart have pushed and encouraged us so much, and we can't say thank you enough.

GREAT NEWS! We're proud to announce that Allison aka FROG has just won the October Competition at :icondaknitters: for her Halloween themed Amigurumi:

La Taniere de la Sorciere - The Witches Lair by FROG-and-TOAD

Thanks to everyone involved in the competition and all green skinned, magical persons everywhere.

Finally we'd like to mention a few deviants who have continuously encouraged and supported us to date.

Thanks Guys :)

So, unfortunately there may not be many deviations from us between now and the new year as FROG will be busy writing patterns, TOAD will be building our website and we'll both be learning the ways of the business world.

So we wish you all a wonderful winter and look forward to being back in Spring.

Kind Regards

Allison and Simon
