Yes it's been forever since I logged in here! My break from comics has lasted longer than I'd intended it to. It's not forever, but it'll still be a little while.

Daisy site revamp!For anyone not keeping up with Daisy is Dead, the site just underwent some major changes. Freshman 15 is now being posted to the Daisy site to suppliment the now once a week updates of Daisy. This also keeps me making new F15's, even though they're no longer being published in UCR's newspaper (unless Taryn tells me otherwise!) Good things all around. Both comics are now in color, and I'll be dragging Daisy up to the visual quality of F15 (gonna try to make BOTH of em look better, really.)
For anyone about to freak out, Freshman 15 will still be posted here! In fact, this is where it'll be archived. But the updates will go up one day early on Daisy is Dead.

I feel the need to say this...People are leaving comments about Daisy is Dead on my main page. This is a small pet peeve of mine to begin with (I prefer notes, e-mails, or posts on Daisy's message board, but hey, whatever) but I feel I should at least let everyone know something:

Fan mail!I just got this message on my Facebook account:
"Hey, what's up? Where'd this week's comic go? My entire apartment has been waiting for the next one with bated breath, and lo and behold, no comic this week!
so sad...."
I didn't realize I had people on campus who actually miss my comic when it doesn't show up! Makes me feel all warm 'n fuzzy. ^^

An update? Wow!Well a few things have changed since last year, so I figure it's time for an update here.
Got a new graphics editor. Cassie. She's awesome. Apart from being a much nicer and more organized person than Abe (and a southpaw! Pryeed!) she's also more honest, since apparently Abe was doing things like altering people's artwork before putting it in the paper (yuck!) She's also much more accepting of help when it comes to other people doing graphics for articles outside the comics page (I'll post those here...or maybe at my other account...I dunno...) And she's in my photography class, so I get to talk to her in person at least twice a week.
Cassie = good.
Also...uhm...well I guess that's it really. Hopefully I'll get to have lunch with Cruz and Kevin sometime soon, so we can discuss some fab story ideas.

So to find a group of people that share that, and have that affinity, is a basic human need. To have affinity with others.

Summer Life Update/SDCC 2018Hi y'all! Just a quick life update, in case you're curious what I've been up to:
At last, this spring I graduated from San Jose State this with a Bachelor's of the Arts in Animation and Illustration, and his summer, I've been working as an intern with Sony Playstation. Specifically, I'm an animator working with their studio Pixelopus on the upcoming game Concrete Genie... so far, I'm loving it! The new job also meant moving out of my hometown, probably for good this time-- The new apartment is much closer to San Francisco now, which is exciting! Expensive, though. Woof.
I'm still doin' my usual comic freelancing: recently I've worked on Archie's Cosmo #5 and IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog #4 and the upcoming Sonic #8. Keep an eye out for that last one... not only does it introduce Silver to the series, but an all-new character! I'll be at San Diego Comic-Con on July 19th, as a panelist on the Sonic the Hedgehog panel to talk about it and later do signings at IDW's b

Amphas are a species of shape-shifting Dragons that used their abilities so slowly accommodate to modern human society.
As they have not entirely mastered their craft as of yet they keep a lot of their Dragon features in their human forms and feature colored markings, but they are broadly accepted by most species and humans alike for their friendly and helpful nature.
Species Description
Amphas mostly roam around in their human forms,
but they can shift into three different forms total.
Ampha: Human form featuring the winged tails and extra features like horns
Amphataur: Half-way shifted form, resembles a Naga with wings
Amphathere: Full Dragon form, features wings that are used for walking like Wyverns do, with no hind legs present in most cases.
Amphas can have slim and muscular body types, rarely chubby physique due to their high energy demand.
