I didn't painted a 'realistic' (following a reference) portrait for a while....or at least it felt like that. Whatever, I wanted to do something like that. But what doesn't take too much time. A digital speedpaint. Why not? But who...Oh, see, Richard Armitage's birthday is on Wednesday! Stupid way to find whom to paint XD
But since I planned to make a coloured portrait, tha way making a 'real' speedpaint was actually closed. I totally forgot how much more time it takes (the only and first digital portrait I did was Fili www.deviantart.com/frerinhagso…). So, I needed 5h for this. But I still wanted to name it 'speedpaint', because I wouldn't count it to a full detailed portrait (which would have take a lot of more time for the hair, pelt, as well as for refinements and corrections).
The painting started with a still frame from the first 'Hobbit' part, but with the time colours and some details changed a bit.

Well, 5h....You take a tablet and a program, paint as fast (don't think much actively) as you can and wonder at the end how on earth you managed to put this together in 5h XD
