DeviantArt Core: Who'd actually appreciate it?
https://www.deviantart.com/checkout/?mx=gift Looks like it's that time of year again, where people can continue to give things and even help themselves out on Core while also gifting other people as well. However, this event gave me some seriously bad memories as well. Last year, I did a very charitable thing to 3 Deviants that I have known for a long time - sorry for the name-calling but I have to do it, so Turquoisephoenix (https://www.deviantart.com/turquoisephoenix), shinragod (https://www.deviantart.com/shinragod) and Lurking-Leanne (https://www.deviantart.com/lurking-leanne) - and gave them all 3 months of Core each, as a sign of respect towards all 3 artists for everything they've been doing.  There was a fourth deviant that I gave anonymously,

PSA: Less Llamas, More Points
I've had a surprising amount of people that have come here lately and sent me these weird looking things called Llamas to my page. I really do appreciate the visits and it's nice to get them from people that tend to wander around here, so that is absolutely lovely.  There's a lot of heart gone into it. However, as a person that has been here for a long time, I really have no idea what is the point of having llamas.  What is there to really gain from it, other than just having something pretty on my front page?  I really don't feel as if these are items that can help me get other things for the future.  Fair play to those that do enjoy colle

MAGFest Hype + Commission Info Update- Copic Tier!
First of all, I'm going to MAGFest this January!  I've been waiting to go there for years to see a lot of great States-side people that I had otherwise merely communicated over the tubes, and this is the best time for me to take a trip of a lifetime out there, pretty much the *only* time that I will fly out of Europe.  I'm working hard to look my best out there - cutting back on snacks, working harder at the gym and of course, highly anticipating which guests will be there on the day! Most people's problems when booking for this prestigious event is the hotels, and I understand that there'll be a huge squabble for getting rooms within 5 mile

20 Years of Crash Bandicoot and How I Got Here
No one's gonna see me ramble about a game series from 1996, but I'll try anyway. xD So, it feels so weird for me to look back 20 years ago - I was at a friend's birthday party some point during the springtime and as a big gamer, there'd be all sorts of consoles all around the house. The main bedroom was where I was most familiar with, housing the Mega Drive and Super Nintendo where I'd attempt to beat them (and fail miserably) at Street Fighter II back in the day, while downstairs had a relatively new addition to the house - a Sony PlayStation. The house was occupied by 3 brothers. The youngest - the birthday boy himself - was really excited

I survived Jak and Daxter: TLF! (thoughts + stuff)
So it's been kinda weird for a gaming outlook this week. Between getting stuck into Eufloria (Steam), barely beating the story levels and got 10 out of the game's 18 achievements before giving up with the balls-hard Dark Matter Mode; working on two coming OC Remix project tracks that had been neglected since going into hospital; and planning out the aforementioned cosplay that I brought up in the previous journal... my gaming outlook ended up taking a different turn for this week. I had only just gone down to town that day just to gather supplies for said cosplay's early stages and cables to finally hook up my PS3 to the hauppage as well as
