Pixel Night Mare

Hmmm.... lets see if this works.... I have that feeling that it won't tho. I'm trying to upload this with a transparent bg... but my program wants to make a white bg, grrrrr.

Anyway, this is my first pixel art! I worked 5 or 6 days on this(I lost track of the days, lol) I didn't really know how to make a "shiny" effect with pixel art, and to make it look like the mare's body is absorbing the light, so I bs-ed it. This was done with a mouse and no photo refrence was used.

Any tips or tricks are welcome to help me sort out this kind of stuff would be welcomed!


Edit: Yay! Fixed the bg! Thanks to a little help from , she got me started, and from this site [link] and their wonderful tutorial on makeing bgs transparent! I HIGHLY recomend this site for tutorials in just about every program you can do pixel art in. Thank you!
