The rooster-elephant II

This drawing depicts a hybrid creature, half rooster and half elephant, fused into a single dynamic form. The work, created with magenta and green ink on a white background, is distinguished by its vivid and detailed lines. The rooster's feathers and the folds of the elephant's skin are precisely rendered through thin, incisive lines, lending depth and texture. The central composition and outstretched wings create a sense of balance and power, highlighting the harmonious fusion of contrasting elements. The work is a conceptual fusion of two artistic genres that I believe represent my artistic journey: on the one hand, the rooster, the protagonist of many works by Croatian artists of the Hlebine naive school; on the other, elephants, representative of the visionary art of Giovanni Cammarata, an artist from my hometown of Messina, Sicily.
