The Pteroartyl

Ink and pen on paper

36x24cm

2025

A pteroartyl (an ironic twist on the name pterodactyl), evoking a hybrid between a pterodactyl and a pencil, a symbol of creativity, emerges from a deep black background. Its broad wings and sharp lead are outlined in a bold contrast of black and white, enhanced by precise strokes that sculpt volume and texture. Organic, swirling shapes envelop the figure, instilling a sense of dynamism.
