Artist statement:

The artwork represents two anthropomorphic elephants, a symbol of empathy, longevity and memory, with human hands and feet instead of paws, to underline their extreme sensitivity, both emotional and physical.

In place of the tusks they also have pencils, just as in place of the tail there are paintbrushes, because in my personal artistic poetics they are the symbol, inspired by the artworks of the sicilian outsider artist Giovanni Cammarata, of Art and Creativity and therefore of the joy and celebration of Life.
