This is strange.
When I look at the original posts, the extra periods are not there. I don't know why you're seeing them.
I will admit that I use ellipses more than most people, but not after every sentence. Can you do me a favor and check my page to see if they are in my comments there as well?

i am just seeing this conversation in passing, but i think i know the problem? sometimes messages are truncated even if there is nothing more to the message, and deviantart uses (...) to indicate truncation
