Regarding BF:
BF4 on Playstation was fantastic! I also enjoyed BF-Hardline but it had no replay value. BF1 looked great but did not really grabbed my interest. BF5 I skipped.
Then I played BF2042 on PS5 and I was very late to the game and I had heard that it had a very rough launch but at this stage I really enjoyed it. ![]()
So I was careful when BF6 was announced and launched but after the first reviews came in I grabbed it and after one week I bought a sesaon pass, first time ever
. I really enjoyed the game mechanics and the graphics. At first the 4 classes where strange but after ~200 hours of play I can say they are really well designed and if you do proper teamplay with the different classes your squad becomes very tough to beat.
Is it the perfect game? No! Does it need more and much bigger maps? Hell yeah!
For me it belongs in the list of best games I played for a long time ![]()

So niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice to hear from you!!! doing the happy dance! ![]()
I’ve been thinking about you two quite often lately, mostly thanks to my "old/new" addiction: Battlefield 6. ![]()
It really takes me back to the good old days when we played together... though that feels like a lifetime ago now! ![]()
Time really does fly. Speaking of which: I only have 1.5 years of work left before retirement... yeah! I am going to enjoy my free time so much. I might finally get around to publishing some of my photos. I even treated myself to a Canon R6 Mk II for Christmas. It’s the "older" model, but it fits perfectly in my kit between the R5 and R7. My next shoot is already lined up: "EVI Lichtungen," a contemporary art festival in January 2026. It’s always fascinating to see the light installations after dark.
On a down note, running is currently on hiatus. It looks like I’ve developed allergic bronchitis. I’ve been fighting it for months with my doctor’s help; the cortisone is finally getting it to a manageable level. Definitely one of those "stupid things" no one needs! ![]()
As for AI, it’s a love/hate relationship for me. You can create fascinating things at insane speeds, but I’ve reached the point where I can usually tell if a picture is AI-generated.
For my daily work in office, I use LLMs like Gemini Enterprise and Nano Banana constantly. I’ve even joined the company's "AI Ambassadors Guild" for our internal tools. I’ve already run starter trainings for over 400 people, with two more company-wide sessions coming in March. So, I’m a "little" biased!
Currently, I’m playing with Suno—it’s unbelievable how easy it is to make great songs, but again: love/hate. The results are astonishing, yet everything sounds "somehow" familiar. ![]()
Take care! I was so, so happy to read your message. ![]()
