1 What is your name and where are you from? My name is Lawrence and I am from London 2 How long have you been active on DA? Ten years. 3 How did you start photography? I was doing a foundation art course at college where you try lots of different things and also study the history of art. It was there that I first did photography using this old Zenit 35mm film camera and I also learned how to develop and print film. 4 What does DA bring to your photographic work? It actually brings a lot. It is the first place I shared my photos with other people. Up until then only me and my family and friends had seen my work. I have made many friends here and have learned a lot from them and from generally looking at as many people's art as I can. Not just photography either. I find that looking at traditional art, digital art and even some poetry helps me improve my own pictures. Some of the people I met right at the beginning have stayed with me throughout my time here and I'm very happy
