The raft cut through the light and emerged into the Styx. Gabby immediately started surveying her surroundings. The sky above them was grey, as if all the clouds in the world were hanging over her head, which would explain the awful humidity. Around the blackened water, the Styx was lined with dead shrubs and rotting plant life. “Someone needed a serious word with their groundskeeper.” Gabby thought.
The raft turned to the left and Gabby was faced with the main passageway of the Styx. The landscape took her by surprise, she couldn’t believe what she saw. She didn’t know what to expect, but a rotting dockland aesthetic
