I doodle in the margins of my pages. Its a stress reliever, mostly, or something to do when I'm lacking inspiration. Usually it's just shapes, squares, rectangles, triangles. Sometimes I'll add in a curve or two to be fancy. I'll fill the shapes with lead, which contrasts the empty head of mine, void of ideas. That's not fair though. I do have ideas. Music played through the lively tavern, the building filled with the sounds of drunken revelry, off tone singing and whispers not as hushed as intended. The players laughed and played as a server replaced their empty mugs with full. Various sell-swords, spell-for-hires and mercenaries gathered, trading stories with each other and competing for who had the best. The largest group of such people were gathered around a large table and betting drinks on tales they told. Bandits, brigands, the occasional sprite all passed the lips of one another, the tales becoming gradually taller and taller. Why did no one make me watch Hibike! Euphonium? Why did no one tie me up to a chair and make me watch this show? I don't understand why. I just... I don't understand why no one realized "oh shoot, cute girls, hard work, a driving theme of music and teamwork, plus they threw in some romantic tension that is never clarified ever but simply put on screen for your shipping delight; Freaky lives off this stuff!" Because I do. And now I'm addicted. It's the Idol Hole all over again....
