this is a tweak of 's "Down the Rabbit Hole 11" [link]

I started out tweaking it and got something I liked... then I decided to see what would happen if I cut it... I didn't like how that looked so I turned off the cutting and from then on, it didn't want to render all the way... it would get about halfway in a reasonable time, then just seemed to freeze, the counter just kept going higher and higher... eventually, I gave up on that, copied all the parameters on to a sheet of paper and started over...

And ended up with this. maybe some day I'll try rendering the original, but I don't know if it will ever render in any normal amount of time.

The title comes from one of H.P. Lovecraft's wonderful stories.
