I want to start off by saying thanks for all the comments, :+fav:s, and :+devwatch:ers new and old. You guys and gals are my inspiration to get better. I'm not good at taking out the time to sit and write journals, so bare with me. I'm writing this when I should be asleep or at least my wife thinks so :). But I wanted to come and say hi and talk about a few things.

First, "hi" to the three people who might read this :(.

Second, art keeps me grounded. I consider myself a modest person. I create my artwork on DA for practice for bigger things I'm working on. I love the woman form, so I mostly create women. But at some point I will bring something different to the table. My work will probably never get a DD, I don't create art for accolades. I create it mostly for myself, but I want others to enjoy it also.

Third, speaking of paying for stuff. I will start excepting commissions on DA soon. I need some time to get my plan together and write out the details. So if you want to lock in a spot, send me a note on here and we can work out everything. Or shoot me an email at:

Thanks for your time,

I won't be posting any new work for about a month or so, because I tore a ligament in my shoulder and it's really painful to be on the computer right now for an extended time. I'll see if I can find some older stuff to add on here. Thanks for your patience and thanks for viewing my work.

Beautiful Words

Journal Entry: Sat Aug 22, 2009, 10:06 PM
(written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez)

"If, for an instant, God forgets that I am a puppet of cloth and gives me a piece of life, possibly I would not say everything I think, but ultimately think everything I say. Would value things, not for what they are worth, but for what they mean. Sleep less and dream more. Understand that for every minute that we close our eyes, we lose sixty seconds of light. Move, when others stop. Wake up, when others sleep. Listen when others speak and oh!! I would enjoy a good chocolate ice cream...

If God gives me a piece of life, I'll dress simple; I show my face to the sun, leaving exposed, not only my body but my soul. My God! If I had a heart, I would write my hate on the ice and wait for the sun to come out. I would paint with a dream of Van Gogh on the stars a poem of Benedetti an a song of Serrat it would be a serenade offer to the moon. I would water the roses with tears, to feel the pain of their thorns and the sweet kiss of their petals ....

My God!, If I had a piece of life ... I would not fail to spend a single day without telling the people I love, that I love them. I would convince every woman or man that they are my favorites and live being in love with love. I would prove to man, how mistaken they are in thinking that they are no longer able to fall in love when they age, not knowing that they age when they stop falling in love! I would give a child wings, but let him learn to fly by itself. I would teach the elderly, that death does not arrive with old age, but with oblivion.

So many things I have learned from you, men ... I have learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that real happiness is in the form you climb the steep. I have learned that when a newborn child squeezes with her small fist, for the first time, the finger of his father, it is trapped forever. I have learned that the only time a man has the right to look down at another men is when he is helping him stand up. There are so many things that I have learned from you, but really they will not serve much, because when they seal me inside that suitcase, unfortunately I will be dying.

Always say what you feel and do what you think. If I knew that today was the last time I will see you sleep, I would hug you heavily and pray to the Lord so that I could become the guardian of your soul. If I knew that this would be the last time I will see you out the door, I would give you a hug, a kiss and call you again to give you more. If I knew that this would be the last time I hear your voice, I would record each of your words to be able to hear them over and over again indefinitely. If I knew that these were the last minute that I would see you, I would say "I love you!" And not assume foolishly that you already know.
Simply there is a tomorrow and life gives us another chance to make things right, but if I am wrong and today is all we have left, I would like to tell you that I love you and I will never forget you.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone, young or old. Today may be the last time you'll see those you love. So do not wait any longer, do it now, because if tomorrow never comes, you will surely regret the day you did not take the time to give that smile, that hug, that kiss because you were too busy to grant a last wish. Keep those you love around you, tell them, let them hear how much you need, love and care for them, treat them well. Take the time to say: "Sorry," "Forgive me", "Please", "Thank you" and all the words of love and care you know... Nobody will remember your secret thoughts. Requests the Lord's strength and wisdom to express them. Show your friends you care about them."

Vector Art on DA

Journal Entry: Tue Jul 28, 2009, 1:45 AM
I don't think vector art is taken seriously on Deviantart. I see some people getting crazy amounts of pageviews, well deserved of course. But others work rarely get noticed. Vectors should be getting more attention, like anime and photographs (not put down these types of art). I sit and put 30+ hours into a piece and really hurts my feelings to only get 70 views. If I don't breast or ass, my work doesn't get noticed. I like breast and ass Illustrations, but that's not all I do. My vectors are different from the most of them on this site. I'm a detail oriented person, that's my reason for using my technique of gradient mesh. I appreciate many types of art, I wish I can do many of them, but I am who I am and I do what I do. I enjoy doing vectors, but I don't get the exposure I want or I feel I deserve.

DA need to come up with a different system, other than the keyword based system. Keywords work great for finding work on Google or other search engines. But keywords should be expanded on the site to help artist get more exposure.

I feel my art is going well. I'm trying new things and I like the results I'm getting. I'm meeting new people and trying to network more. It's some great works and people on here. There is also some crappy work on here. There are also some want to be porn stars on here, trying to be noticed. They also get more pageviews even though they take pictures with cell phones. That's cool and is the way of the world. I will continue to produce great work and I will continue busting my ass for my 70 pageviews :).

Sorry I had to cut off my "butt series" for now. My father-in-law passed away Tuesday, so I've taken the week off from my work. He lost a long battle to cancer. He was a good, strong-willed man that didn't go without a fight. So in honor of him I've taken this small break. This has been hard on me and my family and we needed some time to mourn, but I should be back at it on Monday. He loved my illustrations and he was a lover of Art. So R.I.P. Gilbert Murray, may you journey well and look after us.

To all my watchers and everybody else, thanks for your support and patience.

At this present moment I've met some talented people on here and I've seen some great works. I wish I had more people checking out my work though. I don't know if I'm putting my stuff in the wrong categories or what? So I'm gonna pay for a subscription and hope that my views pick up. I was on this site for months before I added any of my work on here though.

I'm glad to share my work with my" Watchers" that I have so far, thanks you guys. I'm glad to create my work for your viewing pleasures, I will continue to add more work as long as you guys want to see it. Peace and Love.
