So many Imperials... So many TIE FIGHTERS GREAT JOB!

Imperial glory.

Anyone remember this quote? "I am altering the deal. Pray I do not alter it any further."

*starts humming imperial march*

Your 4483 looks an awful lot like 10178 in shape. I'm guessing you rebuilt it internally to have a similar walking mechanism?
franklando's avatar
Yeah, I see what you mean, but no the 4483 is all original. It's actually about 4 studs taller than the other AT-AT, so I just angled the legs in a walking pose to balance out their size in the photo. The 8129 has actually got the top of it's legs extended by 2 studs, so it's a little taller than it should be... still nowhere near as big as 4483 = which is by far the coolest size/shape of all the AT-AT releases in my humble opinion :D

It's all-original? Then you messed up in the build a bit, mounted the front and rear side panels too high. That's what makes it look like the motorized one, those side panels starting at the top of the central "hump" instead of it protruding above them a bit.

How much money did u spend on all of that

I try not to think about the price too much... quite a few of the sets were birthday and xmas presents from friends and family over the years so I've been really lucky :D

Was this inspired by the Ultramarine full chapter photo?
franklando's avatar
No, but I can see why you thought that... this just seemed like the best set up for a team photo. I hadn't seen the Ultramarine full chapter photo until you mentioned it = wow, that's an impressive collection! Thanks for the heads-up! :D

The one on the left is set number 8129 (ltd edition), the one on the right is 4483. My favourite is still the original version (4483), it would look fantastic in the new light gray colour! :D
