Description

Part of a series showing how I made [that mother's day card]; partly because I want to give each of these characters a chance to stand out in their own full-sized glory.


  1. Original pencil drawing

  2. Vectorized coloring

  3. Shading applied to the vectorized coloring, as provided by [Macromedia Freehand MX]

  4. Pink highlights added to ear and paws

  5. Shading touched up to make it resemble fur, and added the muscles in the iris

  6. Whiskers and the glow in the eye

I like the effect you use to make fur-like colorig :) I find it very hard to do
