Here's something which was developed in your country in the 90s, I find it to be like that of some outrageous comic you'd see in Heavy Metal mag or something (and yes the main guy acts like Goku, and the channel's intro spoofing Marvel Vs Capcom 2 but with more obscure characters was my jam ) https://youtu.be/1Nd6oFj-91s?si=w9_hcbAb0B2EcobV
I seem to remember that I had seen some images of this game in magazines at the time, but I had never seen the game in action, so I had never seen a review of it either.
From what I can see, the video praises many positive aspects of the game. Personally, I find that it looks good (except for some rather strange characters). 😅
Thank you very much for sharing this video. 😁
Thanks for the faves
Thank you for my gallery, my friend.
Do you mind if I share something to spread the word in hopes more pple see and consider it, instead of whatever Hollywood treatment they'll do to He-Man? Not only is there a bunch of talented costumers working on this fan-film (the guy who was Tri-Klops in those Powercon 2013 photos I took in my gallery is in this), but they even got Rob Lamb who wrote for the Filmation days (He-Man, She-Ra, Bravestarr, etc) on the script. WAY more worthy than Kevin Smith http://kck.st/3SjMgRB
Check it out, KaiserBeamz talked about Gowcaizer's anime OVA https://youtu.be/SYF6tw7ANg0?si=EGAMZiRQ5l9K_K0C
I've already seen the video, thank you very much for sharing it.
Honestly, I haven't seen the anime based on this video game, I've always had it pending to see along with other animated series and movies.
I have very good memories of seeing Masami Obari's art in my youth, he has a very personal style, but I never saw his style attractive enough to copy it so he was never among the artists who most influenced me in my art style.
In the video, I have seen that the same patterns are always followed, I always hated watching a movie or series based on a video game, and that certain characters barely appeared (normally my favorite characters are not the most popular ones)
The girls were usually dumb and empty characters, with impossible positions to stimulate the spectator (straight man)
In its favor, it may have a simple and unprofessional story, but sometimes I prefer to watch or read simple stories that don't make me think too much. Since I was a kid, when I read superhero comics, I enjoyed the visual art more, leaving the story in the background.
By the way, the movie "Fatal Fury" is gold. 😍
