Please Note that I didnt take the picture and I have left the appropriate watermark in place , but how ever this is my costume thus for I have the right to post it ,since I am the subject, that aside

Velociprey or Juvenile Velocidrome Running amuck at Metrocon
The costume itself is 14 foot long , 6 1/2 foot at the back and about 3 foot wide and 50 pounds -ME , The novice hunters at the con where able to hunt the beast to death before he killed anyone with the help of some pro hunters!

The con barely tolerated us but i thank them so for letting 20+ people beat a monster to death , we even brought a now loading sign and plenty of swords which where given away as prizes for monster trivia in the panel room where all this madness started!

The Costume took over 6 months to complete and is for sale If you are interested and live near Florida let me know or make me a realistic offer,, thanks for looking i hope to make a Barioth next!

*Looks up Megacon...*
That looks awesome! Wish I still lived in Florida, I'd totally go to that.
We have a con here in Springfield, Missouri that's similar (though smaller I'm sure).
500-1,000ish attendees. Sci-fi/fantasy/Gaming/anime/etc.

Anyway, have fun. :D

Megacon is usually about 50,000 in attendance (sci-fi general in orlando fl)
Metrocon is usually about 35-40,000 people show out (anime con , largest anime con in the US in tampa fl)
Dragoncon is the only US scifi con to draw more people at about 60K (in atlanta Ga)
Comic Con is slightly larger but is more of a trade show like CES both in california both draw about 75,000 people each year ,

so 1000 is a small intimate scifi general con

At Megacon you can look down into the dealers room from the terrace windows , and i bet you could be looking at 8000+ people at any one time on saturday, with about 150 different dealer booths and 200 artists its the maddest thing you can see at any con with still thousands more people wondering about sitting ,talking and showing off , its a neat thing for sure , worth coming down to see!the part of the OCCC we take up is about 1/3 a mile squared and its full! You should plan to come see it and spend some money!

Yeah, some day I'd like to hit Anthrocon, Comic-Con, and (if I'm lucky) E3.
Megaplex is big enough to not get bored, but small enough to be able to meet people (500ish).
I'm a Theme Park guy too, so the big cons are fun for me too.

EPIC!!!

Hope it didn't conduct sound too much in there, I imagine all those bats "thunk-ing!" away must've made your ears hum a bit.
