Description
Canon 50D
Tamron 10-24mm wide angle
I borrowed the school's 50D for this shoot because I knew it had expandable ISO up to 6400, opposed to my 5D's 3200. It can be a huge difference when shooting stars. Think I kept the ISO down to 2000 in this one to reduce noise. Obviously for this shot I had to increase the brightness/contrast to bring out the Milky Way a little more, which also increased the brightness of the light pollution near the horizon. Actually kind of a neat effect, I like how it silhouetted the abandoned house. And no, those aren't meteors in the shot- those are just planes
Please tell me what you think!
