Goodness gracious, adult life is a hell of a thing Affords you so many opportunities to go and photograph whatever the heck you want, but provides very little time to actually process and share those images! Here's a shot from a couple weeks ago on a trip scouting fall color locations. Ventured into a part of the Black Hills I had never been to before and was pleasantly surprised, both with the trees as well as the quality dark skies. A little different from my usual stuff, but hope you enjoy this image as much as I enjoyed staring at the stars while creating it! Now, back to a couple house projects I need to get done before this weekend
Please tell me what you think!
An impressive rectilinear night sky shot! Not only the image includes foreground objects to add interest, but they circle the center from all sides. Makes this more interesting than a shot divided by earth and sky.
How long exposures did you use for the tracked images?
