Ashland, NE
While out shooting the Lyrid meteor shower with fellow photographer Cody Ervin, I set up this star trail at the base of the abandoned Beetison Mansion in Ashland, NE (built in 1876). Only caught a couple meteors (had some clouds roll in later), but it was still a fun night! Nice to get out to shoot somewhere new. I’ll have to keep this location in mind as it has some serious “creepy” potential
Still has a fair bit of light pollution, but that can make for some very interesting colors when you mess with the vibrance of the scene (yes, I tweaked the colors to be more vivid
)
Please tell me what you think!
