Description
Canon 6D
Canon 28-80mm
Prints: fineartamerica.com/featured/fo…
One of those scenes while following a storm that makes you stop dead in your tracks. Or in my case, one that causes you to make a u-turn, park on the shoulder of the road, and walk back to the bridge to get a photo. The Cheyenne River cuts through western South Dakota, and is responsible for a multitude of amazing things (like the creation of the badlands, and transporting fairburn agates from the Black Hills to the plains!). Here, the river can be seen winding west towards a foreboding storm. It's been a rainy year, so it was nice to see the banks covered in a lush shade of green instead of a more typical drought-stricken brown. Taken just north of the town of Red Shirt, SD.
Please tell me what you think!
