Chrissie-Girl No More: Chapter 2By the next morning Chrissie woke up with a smile on her face. All night she had been looking forward to spending some valuable time with her older sister. Since her return home all that Chrissie had wanted to do was to hug her as she hadn't really been able to do that until recently. She thought that they would have the best time that day as sisters.
One of the first things she saw as she sat up in her bed was Remy Jr.'s basket that was on the side right next to her bed. The puppy was still asleep and he was also still covered with his blanket. He looked to be very comfortable and at peace so Chrissie didn't have the heart to wake him up.
Instead she just lay down and waited. She also began to imagine the activities that she and Claire would do that day. This included playing games, drawing pictures and going out for some ice cream. It was something that she couldn't wait for but there was something else that she was also thinking about.
She didn't want Remy or Remy Jr. to be left out
The Accidental Tower: Chapter 2For the next couple of minutes Lacey was told some details by Lindsey and Nancy who were both still eager to sign her to the Minolin Mares. However, there were several things that needed to be sorted out if their plan was to go ahead. First thing was that they needed to go through a medical examination with her. If it was determined that she couldn't play due to health concerns it was pointless signing any kind of contract.
This is one thing that worried both Lindsey and Nancy. If it turned out that Lacey couldn't play thanks to her condition then all of their excitement was for naught. But they wouldn't know for sure until Doctor Singh was able to examine her. It all rested on that and if the owner Thomas Robin would approve. The aspect of getting a woman who stood around seven and a half feet tall was too good for any basketball team owner to pass up. It seemed that it was for the best.
Eventually Nancy wrote something down on a small piece of paper. She then passed it to Lacey who b
The Accidental Tower: PilotThe Ladies Pinnacle League team known as the Minolin Mares had a long history in the sport of women's basketball. Founded over fifty years ago they had won the Ladies Pinnacle League on more than one occasion. Unfortunately, those days had long passed them by, nowadays they were known for being the great team that were a shadow of their former selves.
Over the last twenty years they had only made it post-season four times and each time their luck would run out in the first round of the knock out stages. This past season had been no different for them as they had finished in the lower third of the league. This didn't make them the worst team in the league but it was far below what they had been all those years ago.
Many coaches, managers and scouts had come and gone from the team. Many of them claimed that they would restore the team to their former glory but so far none of them had been able to turn their fortunes around. Now a recently retired player was the head coach of the team. He
The Last Giantess: Christmas Special: Chapter 3Remy stood where he was and began to think was that Chrissie had gone out somewhere to help Alana. It would sometimes happen if Alana needed to take a particularly large amount of lumber to a customer. Although Chrissie was nowhere near as big or strong as her there was still some that she could do. She was always more than happy to help which was something that did make her different from Remy.
The man himself still stood there and he could hear the barks of Remy Jr. who was sitting there and wagging his tail. It was obvious that he wanted attention from Remy but it seemed like the man wasn't in the mood for this. This caused the puppy to move away for a moment before returning with a red ball in his mouth. He soon placed it by Remy's feet and then barked up at him.
"What is it?" asked Remy who didn't seem to have time for these games. The only response that he got was a loud and excited bark from the puppy. "You want me to play ball with you?" This was followed by another bark which
