I just put a bunch of submissions in DA storage. Mostly they were old things, but it was quite a few.
The reason I did this was because I had an image removed for policy violation but I wasn't told why. As far as I could tell it follows policy (there was nudity, but that's allowed), so I sent in a ticket for clarification. I do my best to follow policy but its possible I have misinterpreted the site rules, and if so it would have been from the whole time I've been on the site (the removed image was from 2014). So pending clarification I've hidden everything that I think could even remotely for the farthest stretch qualify for violation haha.
Anyway, hopefully they should be back up soon, I'm just being careful. Don't worry!
(btw, I didn't just use the dispute button because I get an error when I click it o_o )
11/20 Update: So I did get a reply to my trouble ticket on August 15 (wasn't able to check it til now bc I've been busy), but it was just a stock reply with 3 links to different lists that just rephrase the list of all possible obscenity violations. The reply didn't answer my question of which specific violation my image was removed for, even after I had originally went through them one by one explaining that why my image didn't violate them. It also said not to use censored images to try and get around policy, which is ridiculous because the image they removed clearly wasn't censored. I'm trying one more time to clarify, but if I get another stock response I probably won't be using the site anymore.
12/19 Update: I got a reply from my mod yesterday. I had had to send him a dropbox link because he wasn't able to see my submission anymore (if it was ever actually looked at). He said that he contacted the "moderation team" and they said that submissions can be removed at any time because they aren't looked over upon submission. In other words, he replied with something completely irrelevant to my question AGAIN. If I can't even get a moderator explanation of how my work violates rules so I know whether to remove things from my gallery or not, and I'll be punished even if the thing is 4 years old (so potentially 10s of images after that could also be in violation for the same reason without me knowing or able to do anything about it), I don't see any use of staying on the site.
Right now I have three active sites but they all have NSFW content. However everything is marked with mature labels/filters. IDK if I'll make another sfw gallery. I'll probably start moving whats left of my work to scraps or something so people know this gallery isn't active. I don't want to delete my account or pictures so don't worry about that.
Anyway, beware but I have galleries on
furaffinity as fralea
hentai-foundry as fralea
twitter as fralewds
If we've talked before you can hit me up for my discord id.
1/16 Update: I finally got an answer to my question on the 11th. That makes 169 days / 8 back and forth messages for me to get an answer since my deviation was reported removed. However the answer I got was still canned in that it didn't actually address my specific picture. Now that I know why it got removed I think I know what the issue is, but I sent another message just to (hopefully) clarify. It definitely seems like there is some rule in which the mods who answer these tickets aren't allowed to do anything but use pre-made messages. (It felt very much like getting sent to a call center where they have to type in numbers for the different pre-recorded responses, or are forced to read from a script.)
After this experience I still have mixed feelings. I'm not sure its worth it to keep posting my work here if it was this much trouble to get some mod support. However, I might take out my deviations from storage since I'm pretty sure none of the others should have the same issue. If what I think is the problem is actually the problem I could probably fix the image that was removed quickly and easily but I'm not sure if its worth it for such an old picture.
