I'm trying to gauge interest in a little project I'm planning. Any interest in exploring/manipulating fractals with a game controller? I was thinking you need both sticks to move and aim comfortably, maybe shoulder buttons to roll, and the rest of the controller is unused. They could be bound directly to parameters in the fractal or they could change what the sticks/triggers control. The biggest hurdle is learning the plugin system for the program you use, but I'm not too concerned. Controller binding is easy and cross platform with SDL2, SFML, etc. That "Rotten Roots" picture is what made me think you'd be interested, flying through that structure while the walls morph around you sounds like it would be wild.
