New Network Pitch

I’m pitching a new television series to ABC about the daily lives of clowns. It will follow various professional clowns and film the average and uninteresting things they do while not performing for a living. You may ask why I made this seemingly peculiar decision. Honestly, the original concept was to have clowns telling jokes, singing songs, and performing magic tricks, but then I realized that this is the 21st century and nobody wants to have fun watching TV anymore!

This is the show you really want. If you don’t like it, it’s clearly your fault and not mine.

Besides, having clowns discuss unrelated segments of possible comedy routines is way easier than actually writing and performing comedy routines. What do you think this is? The entertainment industry?
