Current Residence: Anderson, IN

Relationship status: Married to an amazing husband for seven years.  We have an age gap relationship.  He is 76 and I'm 45.

Pets: Two cats, Sheba and Loki.  Sheba is 11 years old and was adopted on July 7, 2012 from the Humane Society, and Loki is 10 years old and was adopted on November 30, 2019 from the Animal Protection League.

Education: I have a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in mathematics, with a minor in computer science.

Early digital art background: I started using computers as a child in the early 1980s.  When I was a child, I learned the Logo computer programming language and drew digital pictures with Turtle Graphics.

It's Almost Spring

I had written a status update or journal entry some time last year or the year before, in which I complained about DeviantArt's message notification system. I didn't like the way it was set up. I realize they were going through some system changes and are still doing so. It's likely that it will be an ongoing process until the sun sets on time forever. However, I'd like to say that I actually like it now. It's a breeze for me to go through my messages and notifications, and it is easy to respond and return llamas. It is vastly improved from where it was when I complained. Thanks, DeviantArt! In other news, I used to write music years ago. I haven't made any music for a very long time, but recently I started to do so again. This time, I am making electronic music. Before, I had written my music on a piano. Now, I am using my iPad, tablet, computer, and smartphone to make music. I also compose beats. I'm still getting the hang of using electronic devices to make music, so

Happy New Year's Eve! I haven't been on DeviantArt for a few months, so I have some catching up to do. I will upload a fractal or two, and then I will go through the 500+ notifications that have accumulated since I was last here. I will respond to everyone, but it might take me some time. I'm sorry I've been gone again. I just subscribed to Core again, so I hope to be on more often. Thanks to everyone who remembered me while I was away! I hope you all have a wonderful 2022!

It is with a very sad heart that I want to inform you that Stacey aka FractalRock passed away recently, ( some time yesterday, as nearly as I am able to know). It was announced on Facebook in the Jwildfire Sanctuary Group that she has departed this life.



I don't have any other information at this point but if or when I do, I will add it.  I will also cross post this in a journal entry but very few people are following me so I don't know who will see this.



She had been a member here for many years and a very sweet person.
