NEW! Download for 1960x1470
Extremely deep magnification (3.109x10^28) in the Mandelbrot set. If the unmagnified Mandelbrot set is 1 dm long, with this magnification the set would reach more than twenty times beyond the visible universe!!!
Software: fractal eXtreme. No filters or postprocessing except being resized from 12800x9600 to 1024x768 resolution in Photoshop.
As I have mad a print of this one, there is a documentation (pdf) (right click the link) in Swedish. From page 4, you can follow the entire zoom sequence in 28 steps.

Maybe you would appreciate my Chaotic series of fractal articles (<- click) if you have a little theoretical interest
Regarding deep zooms in the Mandelbrot set, if you check out my deviation Cauliflowerfort and click the link under "Artist's Comments", from page 4 you can follow the entire zoom sequence in 28 steps
In this journal you have some links to cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube. Also check out the zoom videos in this journal
.. and from the middle of the nineties there is a fantastic TV program about fractals, Colors of Infinity by Arthur Clarke
Dayum boy!
Just downloaded the pdf and I was like I'm going deep in a galaxy x'D
Wow! It was a wonderful experience! I must say great work! BRAVO
I'm loving it ^^

Great work! Beautiful art! I looked at the documentation and I enjoyed looking at the pictures of the zoom sequence. I couldn't read the text because I don't understand Swedish. However, I do believe that Swedish-speaking fractal artists will enjoy your documentation very much!
I just got into fractal art recently and I've been enjoying learning about it. I've been using an iPad app called Frax HD to create my own fractal art. I can definitely recommend it because it works very well and it is fun to use. I might check out the fractal eXtreme software that you used to create this amazing piece of art.
Really glad you appreciate the documentation
The images are the very important . Big thing have happened at 2014. A new algorithm speeding up the calculations for extreme deep zooms about hundred times
You should check out this gallery here on dA, the images must be seen downloaded
Then also check out this 10 minutes zoom video
There is so much in the fractal world, just among the "Mandel and Julia" type of fractals. I've been very addicted to the full analogies to the Mandelbrot set for higher degree polynomials. A big part of my huge gallery is addicted to those. For that reason I'm very dependent on Ultra Fractal, cause my friend Greenseng her on dA has written special designed formulas for those

The gallery and the zoom video are amazing! The article about the algorithm is too complicated for my level of math skills, but it is interesting. I will also have to take a look at the Ultra Fractal program that you mentioned. I haven't used it before. Thanks for sharing these things with me, my friend!
It has a Mexican feel in my opinion...it reminds me of sombreros and tacos! XD
It is very detailed too!
It is very detailed too!
You may be right, fractals reminds of nothing and, at the same time, everything. That's one of the things that make fractals so fascinating
Most fractal artists are not that very much for deep zooms
If you REALLY wanna perform deep zooms, you shall use this ultra fast software
Check out this gallery

Get Started with Xaos UPDATE2
you have a manual to a free fractal software (Xaos)
I did...but unfortunately my PC died a while ago and i'm left with a tablet only for now... i'm sure i can find an android app somewhere though
Thanks...pdf files aren't a problem, i have UB Reader for that...it's just the software part that gets complicated...
OK, Xaos is written for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. There are many other software for "Mandel and Julia" type of software ..
Waiting for that, you may enjoy this ten minutes video (not mine)

Don't sweat, it's the images showing the zoom sequence that are the essential in that document
So you are from Finland
WE Swedes are very bad in knowing Finnish
So I admire you if you understand a little bit
You may have självstudiekurs a a training n fractals and Swedish. This is also linked from min ocoola svenska portal
Thanks, I might check them too
Yeah as a bilingual country we have to learn Swedish.. I'm glad for you that you don't have to study Finnish

Seems that you've been there
Maybe a little bit unjust towards you that we haven't
But they say that Finnish is one of the most difficult languages in the world. However it spells like it sounds in big contrast to English
poor Alsatians that first have to learn a foreign scripture, then the use of it is quite illogical ..
Maybe a little bit unjust towards you that we haven't
